SalamDo Shia believe the Act of Allah to be separate from the Essence that performs that Act? So for example is the Act of creation separate from the Essence. I have read that the Attributes of Action are separate from the Attributes of Essence.Could you please clarify this?

Obey Parents or Allah

AOA.My mother demands me not to keep beard while I am convinced that I should keep beared as an Islamic culture. When I researched I came to know that obeying parents is compulsory whereas beard is not compulsory.So according to Islam what should be my action? Salaamun AlaykumWe have been taught in madressa that there are 5 Ulul Azam prophets (Prophet Nuh, Ibrahim, Musa, Isa and Muhammad (SAW)) and that they are Ulul Azam prophets because they were given a Shariah. If this is the case, then surely Prophet Adam should be amongst them. Was he not give a Shariah?
